Carcassonne is a tile-based strategy game involving landscape creation, area claiming, and point accumulation. Players strategically draw and position tiles to construct a medieval city by placing cities, roads, abbeys, or fields. Utilize followers, known as meeples, such as knights, robbers, or farmers to control territories and earn points. Careful planning and tactical skill are crucial to achieving maximum points and outwitting opponents.

Six expansions introduce new dimensions to the game by expanding landscapes and optimizing scoring. Enhance gameplay with mini expansions like "The River" and "The Abbot," enjoy additional scoring opportunities with expansions like "Inns & Cathedrals" and "Traders & Builders," and experience unique challenges with expansions like "Princess and the Dragon." Watch out for elements like the Dragon that can affect your meeples and the Princess who can alter city dynamics.
